Not just an airport but a multicultural city with so much to do! Visit the famous uShaka Marine World, bungee jump at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, explore the expansive beachfront or shop till you drop!

The world famous Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park has saved the white rhino from extinction and is now the best place to see them in the wild. Spectacular rolling hills of savanna, home to the Big 5 and much more!

ithala game reserve
Most scenic, and yet not touristy. Arguably the best place to see black rhino in South Africa! Walking trails, walking safaris, guided and self-drive game drives available.

Kosi Bay Nature Reserve
Perfect break between safaris! Relax by the pool, enjoy a boat cruise over the Kosi Lakes, and snorkel in Kosi Mouth Lagoon between hundreds of tropical fish. In season, see turtles nesting on the beach.

Manyoni Private Game Reserve
A private reserve very similar to the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, both in landscape and animals. A more luxurious option and less touristy, and well worth the extra costs.

Maputaland Marine Reserve - Scuba diving
Unwind on sub-tropical pristine beaches, go for long walks on the beach or coastal forest, enjoy scuba diving or snorkeling. In season, view turtles nesting.

Mkuze Game Reserve
An awesome Big-5 Game Reserve with fantastic scenery and phenomenal birding. Guided and self-drive game drives can be done, as well as the famous Fig Forest walking safari!

Pongola Game reserve

De Hoop Nature Reserve
A beautiful coastal reserve where you can walk trails, spot whales, dolphins, ostriches and antelopes all at the same time.

Hermanus/Gansbaai
Best land-based Whale Watching in the world! In season, Southern Right whales come as close as 10 meters from the shore. View them from the whale walking trail, or book a whale watch boat cruise, sea kayaking or shark cage diving adventure!

Knysna
A beautiful seaside town along the Garden Route, next to a lagoon. Visitors can enjoy great scenery, fine dining... You may want to try the oysters for which Knysna is famous!

Oudtshoorn
Not only famous for its ostrich farms which you can visit, but also for the limestone Cango Caves, and the great safari experience at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge.

Plettenberg Bay
With its beautiful bay and the Robberg Peninsular there is a large focus on the marine activities, such as seal swimming, ocean safaris, whale watching and so much more. This incredibly scenic town is also a central location for many of the land-based activities such as horse riding, kloofing and walking tours and trails.

Madikwe Game Reserve
A 75000 hectare malaria-free reserve with Big-5 and great views. This little gem, bordering Botswana, is a very special place boasting an abundance of bird and animal life!

Pilanesberg National Park
A popular park, hence a little busy, but it offers great Big-5 game viewing in stunning scenery. Those who prefer peace and quiet can opt for a private lodge. On a mere 20 minutes drive from Pilanesberg one finds Sun City, the South African version of Las Vegas.

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve
Sabi Sands offers the most exclusive and less touristy alternative to the Kruger National Park. You can enjoy guided game drives and walking safaris from your lodge. It's the best place in Africa to see leopards! If you don't see a leopard whilst staying here, you might as well stop trying!

Soutpansberg Mountain range
Stunning mountain scenery, great walking trails, and unique accommodation. See giraffe and rhino from your veranda!

Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
Timbavati offers a more exclusive and less touristy alternative to the Kruger National Park. No self-drive tourists are allowed, and you can enjoy guided game drives and walking safaris from your lodge.

Augrabies Falls National Park
One of the biggest and best attractions in the Northern Cape. In addition to this beautiful gorge and waterfall the park also has a wonderful array of wildlife, with lots of antelope, giraffe, rock hyrax, baboon and leopard.

Clanwilliam - Cederberg Mountains
The beautiful Cederberg Mountains offer great attractions: from hiking through amazing wild flower displays and beautiful scenery, to enjoying water-sports. Visit one of the many citrus farms, taste good food, or learn more about SAN Bushmen at rock painting exhibits.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
One of Kruger's biggest rivals for 'ultimate safari destination', the Kalahari/Kgalagadi offers visitors an unusual scenery but with arguably the best sightings of predators and raptors. Huge black-maned lions, brown hyenas, honey badgers and several species of birds of prey... You name it, this area offers it all in abundance and in desert habitat!

Langebaan - West Coast National Park
Birdwatchers visit Langebaan and the West Coast National Park in search of the 300 species of birds recorded here. Between August and September visitors also enjoy the spring flowers in bloom. The white sandy beaches, protected waters of the lagoon and mild climate make Langebaan perfect for a variety of water sports.

Namaqualand
World famous for its incredible wild flower displays and definitely worth a visit of every nature lover. Enjoy walking or doing game drives and see many antelope, zebra and other wildlife!

Richtersveld Transfrontier Park
Enjoy this rugged landscape, famous for its high mountains, surreal rock formations and beautiful Orange River.

Located in the north west of the Northern Cape, starting in South Africa and stretching across the border into Namibia. Apart from the many species of animals, that are capable of surviving the extreme heat of summer and the cold of winter, the park also has abundant floral diversity. The area boasts the richest desert flora in the world.

Swazilands only National Park. Shouldn't be compared with South Africa for game viewing, but it offers an authentic Swazi experience!

Expect beautiful mountain scenery with antelope. A very special and tranquil place.

Mkhaya Game Reserve
Swazilands attempt to offer an 'exclusive' safari experience. It shouldn't be compared with South African standards, but a unique and great 'experience' it certainly is! A great romantic getaway.

Mlilwane wildlife sanctuary
Swazilands most famous nature reserve, and for a reason. Apart from offering a relaxed nature experience, in the direct surroundings one can find authentic culture, great activities and the best souvenir shops Swaziland has to offer!
