​Ponta D’Ouro is a small town just over the Mozambique border. The landscape comprises of endless beaches, the clear blue water of the warm Indian Ocean and magical coral reefs. Ponta D’Oura is home to many animals such as whale sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, an array of fish species, coral and fascinating dolphins. Ponta D’oura is most famous for swimming with dolphins, since there is an 80% chance that you will be able to successfully swim with them. There are many other activities available in Ponta D'Ouro, such as whale watching, relaxing at the beach, scuba diving or deep sea fishing. With no tar roads to Ponta D'Ouro 4x4 vehicles are required or border transfers can be organised in advance. Based in Mozambique, Ponta D'Ouro is still very much a rustic tourist town that lacks some of the finesse of other destinations that we offer. That said, it offers guests a relaxed African charm, where the pace of life is slow, the people are friendly and the beaches are perfect.
