Welcome to Tailor Made Safaris
Since 2009, we have been offering custom-made self-drive and guided tours through Southern Africa to hundreds of clients and acting as DMC for a select number of travel agencies. As our team has expanded, we are now looking for partnerships to bring our expertise to your clients. Our Head Office in South Africa is manned by 8 staff, of which 5 are travel consultants.

Tailor Made Safaris is registered as a Closed Corporation and falls under the umbrella of the Tailor Made Safaris Group of companies, together with Safari's Op Maat, Bhangazi Horse Safaris and Nature's Light Photography Tours. We are owner run, based in South Africa and have offices in South Africa and the Netherlands.

Collaboration opportunities
We are currently looking to partner up with a select number (about one per region/country) of quality travel agents that we can act as a Destination Management Company for. Ideally these are small to medium sized travel agents that offer tailor made tours and extensive personalised service.

The Invisible DMCYou interact with your clients, we work completely behind the scenes. You decide upon an itinerary with your clients, we cost that for you, you add your mark-up and sell directly to your client. Your client pays you, you pay us. We put the tour together, you create the travel documentation etc. Your client sees only one company (yours).

The Partner DMCYou acquire your client, discuss their wishes, and forward that to us. We give our feedback to you, you pass it on to your client. Together we create the perfect itinerary for your clients. Your client pays you, you pay us. We put the tour together and create the travel documentation etc.

During the enquiry and booking stage you are their first port of call, once they start their tour, we are. Once they're back, they interact with you again.In summary, the client deals with you mostly, but understands that you are using a partner in Southern Africa.

DMC as Principal Tour OperatorYou acquire your clients,
then pass them on to us. We deal with the rest and the client pays us. You receive a commission from the total booking value. |
