TMS Signature Package
Our Signature Package is what we really do. It is what we excel at and what makes Tailor Made Safaris, well… Tailor Made Safaris. The experiences described in our client reviews are overwhelmingly based on travellers who have explored Southern Africa with us on this type of package.
A Signature Package gives you much more than a collection of bookings. It gives you our personal service, access to our unrivalled local knowledge and all the added touches we have developed over the years to make travelling through Southern Africa easier, more enjoyable and, above all, worry-free.
This includes our full-colour personalised travel documentation, an airport Meet & Greet, a South African eSIM, your own WhatsApp group with our team throughout your journey, and our full support before, during and after your trip.
And trust us: This Is Africa! Unexpected things can and do happen, and things don't always work quite the way you might expect. When they don't, having a knowledgeable local team just a WhatsApp away can make all the difference.
In short, we don't just book your holiday – we curate your journey and look after you before, during and after.
TMS Core Package
There are, however, occasions when a Signature Package isn't the right fit. Perhaps you're travelling on a tighter budget, or perhaps you only want us to arrange a relatively small part of a longer holiday while you organise the remainder yourself.
When we arrange only a small part of a longer journey, our role necessarily changes. Our Signature service is designed around having an overview of your complete itinerary. This allows us to ensure that the different elements of your journey fit together properly and, importantly, to step in and assist when things don't go quite according to plan.
If you choose to arrange part of your holiday independently, those arrangements fall outside our control and responsibility. We cannot verify them, coordinate directly with suppliers we have not booked, or take responsibility for resolving problems relating to those arrangements during your journey. Combining independently booked arrangements with those made through us therefore inevitably introduces an additional element of risk.
For example, if an independently booked flight, transfer or accommodation causes you to arrive late for a service we have arranged, we may have no ability to change or recover either booking. Likewise, if something goes wrong with an independently booked part of your journey, our team cannot take responsibility for resolving it.
For this reason – and because providing our full range of support is simply not viable when we are responsible for only a small portion of a much larger journey – we cannot offer our Signature Package service in these circumstances.
Instead, we offer our TMS Core Package, under which our responsibility is limited to the specific services we arrange for you.
During the planning and quotation stage, you will still benefit from our local knowledge and advice. Once booked, we make and pay for the agreed reservations on your behalf and provide you with a PDF containing the relevant booking confirmations and reservation details. From that point onwards, you travel independently and remain responsible for the overall coordination of your journey and for any arrangements made outside of Tailor Made Safaris.
Because a Core Package does not include our additional travel services or ongoing support, we may offer these arrangements at a slightly lower price than our Signature Package.
