​Lake Kariba is world’s largest man-made lake, it is 290 km long and up to 40 km wide.  The Zambian and Zimbabwean borders traverse the lake. Lake Kariba offers beautiful views, magical sunsets and a multitude of water activities. The weather is good throughout the year, allowing visitors to enjoy this destination year round. The lake has an exciting array of wildlife, including tiger fish, which attract a lot of game fishing enthusiasts, hippos, crocodiles, fish eagles and even the occassional herd of elephants. By far the best way to explore the lake is by boat, either for the day or on one of the many houseboats available for hire. 

Lake Safari Lodge

​Lake Safari Lodge is a 3,5-star lodge on the edge of Lake Kariba. From the lodge you can enjoy the most beautiful panoramic views of the lake. Guests can enjoy one of the two outside pools, the restaurant and the bar during their stay. Standard or executive rooms are available. Lake Safari Lodge offers several activities such as, boat tours, fishing trips, visits to the local markets or even a visit to one of the nearby crocodille farms. The resort is set on the hillside overlooking the beautiful Lake Kariba and has 4 swimming pools.
