Occasionally some guests are less satisfied with certain aspects of their experience and they will call us during their journey to solve it. Usually the cause of the dissatisfaction is the fact that certain expectations were not met. Know we will do all that we can to accommodate each request. We pride ourselves in providing great personal service. As such we believe in discussing your expectations up front and planning your trip accordingly, thereby reducing the chance these small disappointments ruin your trip.

Excellent price/quality ratio
Our trips are generally based on a well thought combination of 3 to 4-star accommodation allowing you to experience amazing destinations at relatively affordable prices. Keep in mind, you won’t be staying in luxury lodges only. Be sure to let your consultant know if you would prefer an exclusively luxurious experience.
Assistance & mediationTailor Made Safaris largely depends on third parties services and products (accommodation, activities…) If something goes wrong or you are not satisfied with some aspect of your experience we recommend you let us know as soon as possible so we can try to mediate with the accommodation/operator on your behalf as to why you were unhappy and hopefully come to an agreement or solution. Note we can only discuss tour refunds if Tailor Made Safaris is the party at fault. |
Great character accommodationWe tend to shy away from hotels and favor smaller lodges with more charm. Note, you may encounter different standards from one establishment to the next (especially if the starring differs) but we generally recommend accommodation based on experience. When staying in National or Regional Parks, the accommodation standard may lower slightly but it’ll surely be compensated by beautiful locations, surrounded by nature. |
Impeccable delivery of a unique experience
Travelling to Southern Africa is fun and exciting and so much more enjoyable when you can rely on your travel agent for advice, guidance and on the ground assistance in case you run into some problems!
Please note in the event of a late booking, availability at your preferred accommodation may be compromised. We will of course do our best to find a replacement of a similar standard but you will be liable for the price difference should the alternative be more expensive.
